Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE: TNL) has announced the acquisition of The Cedars Ranch in Wimberley, Texas, which will be rebranded as Eddie Bauer Adventure Club – Texas Hill Country — the first-ever “Outpost” in the Eddie Bauer Adventure Club portfolio.

The 20-acre property is nestled among mature live oaks in the heart of Texas Hill Country, less than an hour outside Austin. Plans call for 21 unique accommodations, including geodomes, yurts, and cabins, all blending modern architecture with sustainable solar power. Amenities will include firepits, outdoor camp kitchens, an onsite trail, bocce, pickleball, and yard games.

Outposts are described as more intimate than the Club’s resort-style Basecamps, ranging from modern cabins and lodges to tiny homes and other one-of-a-kind stays, with additional locations planned across the country. The property’s existing main event space will be converted into an owners’ lounge with self-serve retail.

Reservations for vacation club owners and guests are set to open in early 2027, with stays anticipated to begin that summer. Rental stays for the general public are also expected to launch in summer 2027.
