Brazilian aerospace giant Embraer has shattered its own records, reporting a landmark order backlog of $35.7 billion in the third quarter of 2026 — a 14% jump year-on-year and the company’s highest-ever total across all business units. The milestone reflects surging demand across commercial aviation, defense, and executive jet segments, confirming that the global appetite for Embraer aircraft shows no signs of slowing.
At the heart of the executive aviation surge is the freshly unveiled Phenom 300EV, the latest evolution of the world’s most-delivered light jet for 14 consecutive years. The sleek new business jet comes equipped with Garmin’s Emergency Autoland system and has already secured simultaneous triple certification from Brazil’s ANAC, the FAA, and EASA — a remarkable regulatory achievement. The Executive Aviation division posted a record $8.2 billion backlog, up 12% year-on-year, underpinned by a book-to-bill ratio of 1.4x over the past 12 months.
Overall, Embraer delivered 66 aircraft in Q3 2026, a 6% increase year-over-year, and logged 72 firm orders for its E2-family commercial jets in the first nine months of the year. With its Defense & Security backlog climbing an extraordinary 56% to $6.1 billion, Embraer is firing on all cylinders heading into the final quarter of 2026.
