In a landmark move for the travel and mobility sectors, car rental marketplace Turo has announced the debut of the first verified Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised) rental experience for travelers across the United States — going live on October 28, 2026.

Turo guests will now be able to search, discover, and book Tesla vehicles with FSD (Supervised) activated, thanks to a direct API integration that automatically verifies the FSD status of each listing. Thousands of FSD-enabled Teslas are currently available on the platform, giving travelers unprecedented access to the most advanced driver-assistance technology on the market.

For Tesla-owning Turo hosts, the partnership unlocks a powerful new way to promote FSD-enabled listings, with eligible US hosts also eligible to receive a free one-month FSD (Supervised) trial subscription. Tesla’s Model 3 and Model Y are already the third and fourth most popular models on Turo year-to-date. Before starting a trip, guests are encouraged to review Tesla’s Full Self-Driving documentation and all applicable safety guidelines.

This partnership signals a bold new chapter for the travel rental industry, blending the sharing economy with cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology.
