Estée Lauder Launches “Mastering Skin Longevity” Science Platform
Beauty giant The Estée Lauder Companies announced the launch of its new Mastering Skin Longevity platform on November 6, 2026. The scientific initiative aims to shape the future of anti-aging skincare across the company’s brand portfolio.
The platform focuses on the concept of “Master Regulators” of aging: interconnected biological pathways and proteins that can influence multiple hallmarks of skin aging. Rather than targeting a single visible sign, the framework takes a holistic approach to slowing the skin’s biological clock.
The platform is being introduced first in China, which the company describes as a market at the forefront of scientific and consumer innovation.
Stéphane de La Faverie, President and CEO of Estée Lauder Companies, said the launch reflects the company’s commitment to “advancing the next era of skin science and innovation across our brand portfolio.” The initiative builds on 80 years of scientific leadership and two decades of longevity research.
The Mastering Skin Longevity framework will provide a shared scientific foundation for brands including Estée Lauder, La Mer, and Clinique, translating biological discoveries into consumer-facing products.
The announcement follows a report of a 7 percent increase in sales and an upgraded financial forecast for the year. The company cited strong demand for luxury fragrance brands, including Le Labo, Tom Ford Beauty, and By Kilian.
