WTM London 2026 Opens Today, Setting the Stage for £2.2B in Global Travel Deals
The world’s most influential travel and tourism trade event, World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, officially opened its doors on Tuesday, November 3, at ExCeL London in the Royal Victoria Dock, East London.
Running through November 5, the three-day event is expected to draw thousands of travel professionals from around the globe, including destination authorities, airlines, hotels, technology companies, and travel buyers.
This year’s theme, “Resilience, Rebound & Reinvention: The Next Era of Global Travel,” reflects the industry’s ongoing transformation. Egypt has secured Premier Partner status for WTM London 2026, spotlighting the nation’s ambitions for international tourism growth.
New for 2026, the WTM Wanderlust Headliner Stage, curated by consumer media partner Wanderlust, brings a more outward-facing perspective to the event. The 20th WTM Ministers’ Summit is also scheduled for Wednesday, November 4.
Last year’s event generated more than £2.2 billion in business deals and welcomed over 5,500 high-quality buyers, an 8% increase year over year. With geopolitical shifts affecting travel patterns and China expanding its pavilion presence at this year’s show, industry observers are watching closely to see which destinations emerge as the new powerhouses of global tourism.
