Travel + Leisure Co. Launches First Eddie Bauer Adventure Club Outpost in Texas

Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE: TNL) has announced the acquisition of The Cedars Ranch in Wimberley, Texas. The property will be rebranded as Eddie Bauer Adventure Club – Texas Hill Country, becoming the first-ever “Outpost” in the Eddie Bauer Adventure Club portfolio.

The announcement marks a bold move by the Orlando-based leisure travel company into the growing experiential and outdoor hospitality sector.

Nestled among mature live oak trees in the heart of Texas Hill Country, the 20-acre property is less than an hour from Austin. It will be transformed into a 21-unit glamping retreat featuring a distinctive mix of geodomes, yurts, and cabins. Outposts are designed as intimate, immersive nature-based properties, with the surrounding landscape central to the guest experience.

Club members will be able to book stays using their club credits through the app starting in early 2027, with visits expected to begin in summer 2027. Membership benefits include:

  • A 50% discount on Eddie Bauer apparel and gear
  • Automatic Guide-Tier status in the Eddie Bauer Adventure Rewards Program
  • One complimentary annual excursion for two

The news comes as Travel + Leisure Co. reported a strong third quarter in 2026, with adjusted diluted earnings per share rising 23% to $2.21 and beating analyst consensus estimates.
