Gulfstream Aerospace Surpasses $3 Billion in Spare Parts Investment as Support Network Expands
Gulfstream Aerospace recently revealed that its total investment in dedicated spare parts inventory has exceeded $3 billion. This significant milestone emphasizes the Savannah, Georgia-based manufacturer’s dedication to ensuring its expanding fleet of business jets experiences minimal downtime.
The announcement, made on October 19, 2026, highlights Gulfstream’s strategy of positioning critical components closer to operators globally. The company currently manages a 12-location distribution network, which includes forward-stocking facilities in Singapore and Amsterdam for Asia-Pacific and European customers. It also has expanded centers in Atlanta, Georgia, Mesa, Arizona, and Dallas, Texas.
The Atlanta distribution center alone houses approximately $190 million in inventory, following a 65% increase this year. Meanwhile, the Mesa facility now holds more than $48 million after experiencing 25% growth. Gulfstream President Mark Burns, speaking at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas, projected that the customer support business could potentially double in size over the next decade.
Gulfstream is also enhancing its in-house repair capabilities. It has a component repair and overhaul facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that handles wheels, brakes, and landing gear. Additionally, a facility in Lincoln, California, is dedicated to avionics. Gulfstream anticipates delivering approximately 160 aircraft in 2026 and has plans to increase output to 200 or more annually.
