Dassault Selects Honeywell for EASy IV Cockpit Upgrade on Falcon 2000 Jets
French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation has unveiled a significant avionics partnership with Honeywell Aerospace at the NBAA-BACE 2026 show in Las Vegas. The partnership involves the selection of the EASy IV flight deck for its Falcon 2000 series.
The upgrade will be available for in-production Falcon 2000LXS aircraft, currently equipped with the older EASy II flight deck. Additionally, a retrofit option will be provided for existing Falcon 2000-EASy series operators. Both upgrade paths aim for availability by 2029.
With the deployment of EASy IV across the Falcon 2000 platform, all Dassault Falcon aircraft will now operate on a common avionics system. This move aligns the twin-engine midsize jet with the larger Falcon 6X and 8X models, which are already equipped with EASy IV.
The EASy IV suite is designed to enhance pilot situational awareness, reduce workload, and streamline cockpit operations. This is achieved through advanced integrated displays, an intuitive cursor-control interface, and next-generation flight management capabilities. The upgrade solidifies Honeywell’s position as a crucial avionics technology partner across the Dassault business jet lineup.
In other news from NBAA-BACE, Dassault confirmed that its ultra-long-range Falcon 10X is on schedule for EASA certification in 2029. Rolls-Royce has completed engine certification tests and is finalizing its regulatory report.
