Baha Mar in Nassau Launches 5th Annual Culinary & Arts Festival
Nassau, The Bahamas, takes center stage today as the 5th Annual Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival commences at the globally renowned Baha Mar resort on Cable Beach. The festival, scheduled for October 21–25, 2026, has become a staple event in the Caribbean’s luxury travel scene. This year’s milestone edition is anticipated to be the most ambitious yet, attracting visitors worldwide for five days of culinary delights, cultural immersion, artistic expression, and entertainment.
The festival boasts a culinary lineup of internationally acclaimed chefs such as Daniel Boulud, Marcus Samuelsson, Scott Conant, Dario Cecchini, Nina Compton, and Buddy Valastro. These culinary giants will share the stage with a fresh wave of up-and-coming Caribbean chefs. On Friday, October 23, the Grammy-nominated rock band OneRepublic will headline the festival’s signature event, the Taste of Baha Mar welcome party, set on the picturesque Jasmine Lawn.
On the following day, attendees can look forward to the Culinary Expo, the highly praised FUZE Art Fair — the Caribbean’s largest art showcase — and the multi-course Art of the Plate Foundation Dinner.
This event highlights The Bahamas’ strategic efforts to diversify its tourism appeal beyond its beautiful beaches. It positions Nassau as a global hub for culinary and cultural tourism. Festival passes start from $100 per person, with full weekend packages available on the Baha Mar website. Industry experts view the festival as a blueprint for how Caribbean destinations can attract high-value travelers through immersive cultural experiences.
