Four Seasons Unveils Global Expansion: 13 New Luxury Hotels Across Five Continents by 2027

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has recently announced an ambitious global expansion plan. The roadmap reveals 13 new openings and landmark revivals across Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, set for 2027 and beyond. This gives travel enthusiasts plenty of reasons to start planning their future trips.

The portfolio update, released on October 20, 2026, spans a remarkable range of settings. These include:

  • A private island retreat in Belize with overwater bungalows and UNESCO World Heritage access
  • A brand-new Four Seasons Resort in Okinawa, Japan
  • A 60-villa coastal resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania
  • The Four Seasons Hotel Madinah, located just steps from the Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia

Europe also features prominently in the expansion. The historic Danieli hotel in Venice — which unites three historic palaces on the Riva degli Schiavoni — is joining the Four Seasons’ collection. Meanwhile, The Park Gstaad in the Swiss Alps is set to return after an extensive transformation by architect Joseph Dirand.

In the Americas, the iconic Four Seasons Biltmore Santa Barbara is set to reopen with refreshed rooms, new pools, and the debut of a Nobu Santa Barbara restaurant.

Four Seasons’ 2027 yacht programme will also add new Egypt and Costa Rica routes. Additionally, private jet itineraries spanning 21 to 24 days are being expanded. With over 130 properties worldwide, this pipeline further solidifies Four Seasons’ position as the most ambitious global expander in luxury hospitality.
