Travel + Leisure Co. Launches First Eddie Bauer Adventure Club Outpost in Texas
Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE: TNL) has expanded its outdoor hospitality portfolio with the acquisition of The Cedars Ranch in Wimberley, Texas. The property will be rebranded as Eddie Bauer Adventure Club – Texas Hill Country, the first-ever “Outpost” in the Eddie Bauer Adventure Club collection.
Nestled among mature live oaks in the heart of Texas Hill Country, less than an hour from Austin, the 20-acre property will be transformed to feature 21 unique accommodations, including:
- Geodomes
- Yurts
- Cabins
Reservations are expected to open in early 2027, with stays beginning that summer. Phased renovations to enhance resort amenities are also planned throughout 2027.
“Outposts” are the third pillar of the Eddie Bauer Adventure Club ecosystem, joining resort-style “Basecamps” and “Trail Partners.” The latter includes Under Canvas, announced as the first Trail Partner in October 2026, giving club members access to 18 properties across North America.
Club members at the new Texas Outpost will receive:
- A 50% discount on Eddie Bauer apparel and gear
- Automatic Guide-Tier status in the Eddie Bauer Adventure Rewards Program
- One complimentary annual excursion for two
The launch follows Travel + Leisure Co.’s debut of the Eddie Bauer Adventure Club brand in May 2026, with a 39-suite resort in Moab, Utah.
