TEL AVIV — October 24, 2026 — Nvidia, the world’s leading AI computing company, has announced plans to invest approximately $1.5 billion in the largest server farm ever built in Israel, solidifying the country’s status as a global artificial intelligence powerhouse. The facility will be located in the Mevo Carmel Science and Industry Park in northern Israel, near Yokneam, and is set to become Nvidia’s largest laboratory center outside the United States.

According to Israeli business outlet Calcalist, Nvidia is in advanced negotiations with local real estate firm Mega Or DC to lease a data center currently under construction. The sprawling campus will cover approximately 30,000 square meters (nearly 323,000 square feet) and consume 64 megawatts of power — enough for tens of thousands of homes. The facility will house Nvidia’s cutting-edge Blackwell processors and a next-generation AI supercomputer, sitting adjacent to Nvidia’s existing server farm in the same industrial zone.

CEO Jensen Huang has publicly declared Israel to be Nvidia’s “second home,” with Israel already ranking as Nvidia’s second-largest R&D hub globally, employing over 5,000 workers. Construction is slated to begin in 2027, with the facility expected to open around 2031. The investment is part of Nvidia’s broader strategy to aggressively expand its global data center footprint as demand for AI infrastructure surges worldwide.
