Club Med Borneo: Bookings Open March 24 for November 2026 Launch
Club Med has excitedly announced that reservations for its eagerly awaited Club Med Borneo resort will commence on March 24, 2026. This comes ahead of the resort’s planned debut in November 2026. The all-inclusive resort is set to be the brand’s second property in Malaysia, following the long-established Club Med Cherating.
The resort is strategically located in Kuala Penyu on Sabah’s west coast. This 17-hectare beachfront development is approximately 90 minutes away from Kota Kinabalu International Airport. It is nestled between a lush tropical rainforest and the South China Sea. The resort boasts 400 guest rooms, including 39 suites within the premium Exclusive Collection category. This premium section, known as the Mutiara Exclusive Collection space, offers private facilities, embodying a “resort within a resort” concept.
The new property is projected to create over 350 jobs, thereby introducing a significant new large-scale resort option in Sabah’s burgeoning tourism sector. Early booking incentives include complimentary room upgrades, subject to availability, for stays from November 16, 2026, to January 3, 2027.
The resort aims to offer a blend of nature experiences, cultural activities, and family-friendly amenities, in line with Club Med’s all-inclusive philosophy.
