Stellantis Introduces the Affordable Fiat Topolino EV to the US Market
Detroit, MI — July 7, 2026 — Stellantis has officially opened U.S. ordering for the 2026 Fiat Topolino, an all-electric micro-quadricycle priced from just $13,995. This makes it one of the most affordable electric vehicles ever offered in America. With a mandatory destination fee of $990, the effective starting customer price comes to $14,985.
The Topolino — Italian for “little mouse” — is technically a quadricycle, functioning more like a sophisticated golf cart than a traditional automobile. It features a top speed of 19 mph and an electric range of up to 46 miles. This makes it designed primarily for short trips around private communities, resorts, campuses, and golf courses rather than highway commuting.
It will be available in limited quantities in two versions:
- A hardtop model with doors
- A “Dolce Vita” soft-top convertible model featuring a rope instead of traditional doors
The Topolino is produced in Morocco.
Stellantis confirmed the U.S. launch late last year after President Trump praised small Japanese “Kei” cars at a White House meeting with automotive leaders. Fiat brand CEO Olivier François said: “Topolino represents a new chapter for the brand in the U.S. — defined not just by size, but by purpose.” The move signals Stellantis’ bet that American consumers are ready for ultra-compact urban mobility solutions at an accessible price point.
