ServiceNow’s Largest Acquisition: Cybersecurity Firm Armis for $7.75B
Enterprise software giant, ServiceNow, made a landmark announcement on December 23, 2024. The company has entered into an agreement to acquire cybersecurity startup, Armis, for a whopping $7.75 billion in cash. This acquisition marks the largest in ServiceNow’s history.
The Israeli-founded company, Armis, has carved a niche for itself in the realm of cyber exposure management and security across IT, operational technology (OT), medical devices, and other critical infrastructure. The acquisition is projected to more than triple ServiceNow’s market opportunity for security and risk solutions. Armis recently surpassed $300 million in annual recurring revenue and was valued at $6.1 billion in a November 2024 funding round.

“Together with Armis, we will deliver an industry-defining strategic cybersecurity shield for real-time, end-to-end proactive protection across all technology estates,” said Amit Zavery, ServiceNow’s president and chief operating officer. The deal comes at a time when worldwide spending on information security is projected to increase 12.5% in 2026 to $240 billion. Armis’ approximately 950-person team will join ServiceNow upon closing, which is expected in the second half of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals.
