This October signifies a remarkable surge in global aviation connectivity. Airlines across the globe are launching fifty new international routes, thereby fortifying connections between key business and tourism hubs.
EVA Air kicked off a new transpacific link between Taipei Taoyuan and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on October 3. This new route offers three weekly flights and marks its seventh US destination.
In a historic move, Delta Air Lines commenced its tri-weekly Boeing 767-400ER service between Atlanta and Marrakech on October 25. This is the first time a US carrier is flying nonstop to the renowned Moroccan city.
Gulf Air has also made a comeback to the US market with tri-weekly Boeing 787-9 flights from Bahrain International Airport to New York’s JFK.
The expansion isn’t limited to the US. It extends to Asia as well, with Norse Atlantic Airways spreading its wings to Bangkok and Wizz Air setting up a new base in Yerevan, Armenia.
For travelers, these new direct connections translate to enhanced convenience, shorter travel times, and increased flexibility for planning both leisure and business trips.
