NVIDIA Surpasses Q2 Forecasts with a Staggering $46.7B Revenue, Thanks to Blackwell AI Platform
NVIDIA has announced a Q2 fiscal 2026 revenue of $46.7 billion, marking a 56% increase year-over-year and surpassing analyst predictions of $46.06 billion. This significant growth in the AI chipmaker’s earnings per share, which reached $1.05 adjusted as opposed to the estimated $1.01, can be attributed to the persistent demand in the data center sector and the successful roll-out of its next-generation Blackwell AI platform.
CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the pivotal role of the Blackwell platform, stating, “Blackwell is the AI platform the world has been waiting for, delivering an exceptional generational leap.” The company’s Q3 revenue forecast stands at a robust $54 billion, suggesting a continued growth trajectory above 50% as AI infrastructure spending remains strong. However, despite these impressive figures, shares dipped in extended trading due to data center revenue falling short of estimates for the second consecutive quarter.
