Lady Gaga Takes the Helm as CEO of Haus Labs

Lady Gaga has officially stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer of Haus Labs, the cosmetics company she founded in 2019. The appointment is effective immediately and follows the departure of co-founder and former CEO Ben Jones, who left the company in October 2026.

Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, will oversee the brand’s commercial operations alongside her existing responsibilities for creative direction and product development. The move marks a shift from founder and creative visionary to leader of the company’s key business decisions.

Haus Labs originally launched as Haus Laboratories in 2019, becoming the first beauty brand to debut exclusively through Amazon. In 2022, the company rebranded as Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, introducing reformulated clean, vegan product lines and expanding its retail presence through Sephora.

The leadership change comes as Haus Labs competes in an increasingly crowded celebrity cosmetics market. Beyond the beauty brand, Gaga co-founded Outer Bio, a biotechnology company focused on discovering bioactive compounds, publicly announced in August 2026.
