Frequent flyers with JetBlue Airways have plenty to celebrate: the New York-based carrier has announced a sweeping expansion of its TrueBlue® loyalty program, set to take effect on February 1, 2027. The highlight of the revamped program is the introduction of complimentary, space-available upgrades to BlueFirst™ — JetBlue’s new domestic first-class cabin — for all four tiers of Mosaic® elite members and eligible JetBlue Premier Cardmembers traveling on qualifying fares.
The upgrade benefit also extends to one travel companion on the same reservation, a move designed to reward loyalty with tangible, shareable perks. Premium Upgrade Certificates, formerly known as “Move to Mint” certificates, can now be redeemed for either Mint® or BlueFirst™ seating, giving members far greater flexibility than before.
Top-tier Mosaic 3 and Mosaic 4 members will gain expanded Perks You Pick® options, including larger points bonuses (up to 30,000 bonus TrueBlue points), additional upgrade opportunities, and the ability to gift status or BlueHouse Lounge memberships to other travelers. JetBlue Premier Cardmembers who reach Mosaic 3 or 4 status will also unlock companion travel statement credits of up to $500 or $1,500, respectively.
“TrueBlue is built around our customers, and we’ve continued to evolve the program by listening to the members who fly us most,” said Ed Pouthier, VP of Loyalty and Personalization at JetBlue.
