ATP Flight School Introduces Affordable Pilot Career Discovery Program
The nation’s largest flight school, ATP Flight School, based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, has proudly unveiled its new Career Track Discovery Program. This program serves as a cost-effective, low-commitment opportunity for aspiring airline pilots to explore the aviation industry before fully committing to a career.
Offered at an affordable price of $4,995, which equates to less than $225 per flight hour, this four-week program is designed for students with zero prior experience. Participants can accumulate 23 flight hours towards their Private Pilot Certificate, while also completing the first four weeks of ATP’s comprehensive Airline Career Pilot Program curriculum. Every hour logged contributes to future FAA certifications. This program is accessible at over 85 ATP training centers nationwide, with new classes commencing every Monday.
Compared to ATP’s full nine-month Airline Career Pilot Program, priced at $123,995, the Career Track Discovery Program offers a significant stepping stone. Students who decide to proceed can seamlessly transition into the full program, with the entire $4,995 cost credited towards their tuition. Given Boeing’s projection of a global need for 122,000 new pilots, ATP’s new initiative arrives at a pivotal time for pilot pipeline development.
