Coty Inc. Announces Major Leadership Restructure and Operational Overhaul

Global beauty giant Coty Inc. (NYSE: COTY) has unveiled a comprehensive leadership restructure and operational model overhaul. This move is part of its accelerated Coty.Curated strategy, which aims to streamline decision-making and enhance accountability across its prestige portfolio.

Under the new structure, Executive Chairman and interim CEO Markus Strobel will assume direct control of Prestige commercial operations. The company’s regional leaders will now report directly to him. Furthermore, Coty plans to integrate its Prestige R&D, sustainability, and supply chain functions under a single, simplified unit. This unit will be led on an interim basis by Chief Supply Chain Officer Graeme Carter. The Consumer Beauty segment will continue under the leadership of President Gordon von Bretten.

The restructure also brings about significant leadership changes:

  • Chief Commercial Officer Prestige Caroline Andreotti will depart at the end of September after nearly two decades with the company.
  • Chief Scientific and Sustainability Officer Dr. Shimei Fan will leave at the end of August.
  • Joining the team is Chief People and Purpose Officer Séverine Charbon, effective from September 1. Charbon brings over 25 years of international talent and transformation experience from Publicis Groupe.

Coty, a seller of fragrance, color cosmetics, and skin and body care products in over 120 countries, reported a fiscal Q3 2026 revenue of $1.28 billion. This figure slightly surpassed expectations as the company sharpens its strategic focus on core prestige brands.
