Manifest OS Raises Unprecedented $60M in Legal Tech Funding
Manifest OS, an innovative startup revolutionizing the legal industry with AI-powered law firms and fixed-fee pricing, has secured a record-breaking $60 million Series A funding round. This funding, announced on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, catapults the company’s valuation to $750 million, marking the largest Series A in legal technology history.
The funding round saw participation from leading venture capital firms including Menlo Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, First Round Capital, and Quiet Capital. The brainchild of immigrant entrepreneur Dan Mishin, Manifest OS was born out of a personal experience with the exorbitant costs of U.S. legal services. The company’s mission is to “end the billable hour” and democratize access to legal services through the power of artificial intelligence.
Unlike traditional models that sell AI software to existing law firms, Manifest OS adopts a unique approach. It partners with attorneys to create AI-native practices from scratch under the “Manifest Law” brand. The platform offers a comprehensive solution that covers:
- Client communications
- Legal research
- Document drafting
- Reporting and billing
- Back-office operations such as intake, business development, and quality assurance
This allows lawyers to concentrate solely on legal work and client advocacy, eliminating the distractions of administrative tasks.
The company successfully incubated its first law firm in the business immigration market under Arizona’s alternative business structure program. In just 18 months, the platform has managed over 3,000 client engagements, boasting a visa approval rate 15 percent higher than the national average and response times three times faster than traditional firms. The newly acquired capital will fuel expansion into new practice areas and global immigration services.
