M•A•C VIVA GLAM and Conner Ives Unite for Trans Equality Initiative
M•A•C Cosmetics has unveiled a compelling limited-edition collaboration with renowned fashion designer Conner Ives. The iconic “Protect the Dolls” T-shirt and lipstick collection was exclusively launched on March 31, 2026, in alignment with the Trans Day of Visibility.
This collaboration showcases a reimagined version of Ives’s viral black T-shirt, now featuring the M•A•C VIVA GLAM branding on the back. Alongside the T-shirt, a limited-edition M•A•Cximal Silky Matte VIVA GLAM Lipstick in Viva Planet—a versatile pink-beige shade designed to flatter all skin tones—has been introduced. The significance of this launch lies in its cause: 100% of the proceeds will be channeled towards organizations working tirelessly for trans equality and promoting healthy futures globally.
The “Protect the Dolls” T-shirt first made its appearance at Ives’s Fall/Winter 2025 show during London Fashion Week. It quickly gained popularity, selling more than 17,000 units and raising over $600,000 for Trans Lifeline and Not a Phase in the UK. Reflecting on the collaboration, MAC Global Creative Director Nicola Formichetti said, “Partnering with Conner Ives on Protect the Dolls through M•A•C VIVA GLAM is a very special moment for us.” The campaign proudly features pioneering trans models including Dominique Jackson, Josephine DuPont, Ivy Stewart, and Green Kim.
