Expansion in Asia-Pacific Markets
In the Asia-Pacific markets, China Southern Airlines is commencing three-times-weekly Beijing Daxing-Helsinki flights on March 29. The flights will use Boeing 787-9 aircraft, giving Daxing its first nonstop link to the Nordic region.
Meanwhile, Jet2 will open a new base at London Gatwick from late March, with initial Tenerife flights starting March 26. The company plans to deploy six aircraft to support 29 leisure routes.
