Four Seasons Reveals Majestic Cliffside Resort in Tangier, Morocco
Luxury hospitality giant Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has unveiled a striking new property along the northern coast of Morocco. The Four Seasons Resort Tangier is nestled within the esteemed Cap Malabata district. The project, announced on October 8, 2026, is a collaboration with Royal Resort Cap Malabata, a luxury development company supported by GFH Bank of Bahrain.
Positioned dramatically on cliffs where the Mediterranean Sea converges with the Atlantic Ocean, the resort promises awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Strait of Gibraltar. On clear days, guests can even spot the Spanish coastline across the water. The resort, designed by Arjitec and featuring interiors by Goddard Littlefair, will boast 99 guest rooms and suites, including 27 standalone private villas, and over 260 metres (850 feet) of waterfront.
The resort will offer a range of facilities including:
- Four dining venues
- A luxury spa
- Swimming pools
- A fitness centre
- A dedicated children’s programme
Located approximately 15 minutes from Tangier’s high-speed Al Boraq railway station, the resort ensures easy connections to Rabat and Casablanca. This marks the fourth property in Morocco for Four Seasons, joining their existing hotels in Casablanca, Marrakech, and Rabat. The formal opening date is yet to be announced.
