Bentley Aviation Expands with Relocation to Syracuse Hancock International Airport
General aviation services company Bentley Aviation has marked a significant milestone in its expansion journey. The company officially relocated to Syracuse Hancock International Airport (KSYR) in New York on September 6, 2026. This move was necessitated by Bentley Aviation’s growth, as it outgrew its original facilities and required a larger operational footprint to accommodate increasing demand.
The move to KSYR provides Bentley Aviation with access to larger hangar space. It also strategically positions the company at one of Central New York’s key aviation hubs. Syracuse Hancock International Airport, managed by the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA), currently supports approximately 60 based aircraft and dedicates about 68 acres to general aviation operations. These operations include FBO facilities, hangars, tiedowns, and aircraft parking aprons.
2026 has been a year of development for the airport, with projects such as a $60 million consolidated rental car facility and expanded cargo infrastructure. Bentley Aviation’s arrival at KSYR adds to the airport’s evolving role as a regional general aviation destination. The company is now better positioned to serve its expanding customer base from a world-class facility.
