Dyson Breaks New Ground with $500 AI-Driven CameraJet Toothbrush

Dyson, the renowned British engineering firm famed for its vacuum cleaners and hair tools, has boldly ventured into the oral care sector. The company’s latest innovation is the Dyson CameraJet™, the first-ever toothbrush equipped with an inbuilt camera. This futuristic device, unveiled by founder James Dyson in Paris on September 1, 2026, is already creating a buzz in the beauty and wellness industry.

The CameraJet, priced at $500, employs an integrated 100,000-pixel macro-lens camera. This camera, powered by Gap Optical Targeting™ and machine learning, identifies gaps between teeth in real-time. It then triggers a precision jet of mouthwash to remove plaque, effectively flossing while you brush. The brush head vibrates nearly 1,000 times per second due to sonic oscillation technology, while an anti-gravity tank ensures consistent mouthwash dispensation at any angle.

The CameraJet is the culmination of six years of intensive R&D involving 661 Dyson engineers and 38 filed patents. This device seamlessly combines brushing, flossing, and mouth-rinsing. Additionally, it live-streams footage of your oral cavity to your smartphone. The complete Dyson Dental System — comprising the toothbrush, charging dock, travel case, Dyson Toothpaste, and Dyson Mouthrinse — is now available on dyson.com and at Dyson Demo Stores. Shipping commences from September 8, 2026. The system is available in two color variants: Ceramic Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink.
