Nestlé Introduces AI-Driven Beauty & Nutrition Range for Ozempic Consumers
With the increasing global reliance on GLP-1 weight-loss medications such as Ozempic and Wegovy, Nestlé Health Science is seizing the opportunity in the burgeoning “companion wellness” market. They are introducing a new range of AI-powered nutrition and beauty-from-within products specifically designed for GLP-1 users.
Nestlé’s team of scientists have been researching the physical side effects of rapid weight loss linked with these treatments. These include the so-called “Ozempic face,” muscle loss, nutrient deficiencies, dehydration, and diminished skin and hair elasticity. To address these issues, Nestlé is fast-tracking product development by employing internal AI tools to scrutinize clinical research, consumer trends, and a database of approximately 120,000 recipes.
Recent product launches include the Boost Advanced Nutrition Shake in the US and Milo PRO High Protein in Asia and Australia. The company’s extensive GLP-1 nutrition platform, available at glp-1nutrition.com, features supplement brands such as Garden of Life, Nature’s Bounty, Nuun, and Vital Proteins. These brands offer solutions in areas like muscle preservation, gut health, hydration, and skin and hair health.
Industry experts observe that this strategy signifies a wider shift: the GLP-1 boom is not merely disrupting food categories, but it is also generating new demand in the beauty and wellness sector. This is particularly evident in the case of ingestible beauty products and barrier-repair skincare formulations.
