Zenith Aircraft Captivates Oshkosh Audience with CH 750 Super Cruzer Launch
Zenith Aircraft Company made a significant impact at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 by introducing the CH 750 Super Cruzer. This all-metal, high-wing kit aircraft merges the best features of two of its most popular designs into a single, capable cross-country machine.
The Super Cruzer combines the robust fuselage and generous payload of the STOL CH 750 Super Duty with the new wing and tail of the faster CH 750 Cruzer. The result is an aircraft that delivers impressive cruise performance without sacrificing short-field landing capability.
The prototype, flown directly to Oshkosh from Zenith’s factory in Mexico, Missouri, boasts a 2+1 seating configuration (two full-size seats up front and a rear jump seat). It also features a spacious 50-inch wide cabin with bubble doors, and is powered by a standard Lycoming O-360 180-hp engine with a three-blade Sensenich propeller.
Zenith estimates kit assembly to be under 400 hours, and is already accepting orders with kit deliveries starting shortly after AirVenture. An amphibious float option will also be available, increasing gross weight to 2,200 lbs while maintaining an 800-lb useful load.
Zenith president Sebastien Heintz stated the goal was straightforward: provide builders with the load-carrying ability of one aircraft and the cruise speed of another, all in a single, affordable package.
