Textron Aviation Reveals CJ3 Gen2 & King Air Crimson Edition at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh

Aviation enthusiasts heading to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 are in for a treat. Textron Aviation has announced the highly anticipated show debuts of two exciting new aircraft — the Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2 business jet and the Beechcraft King Air 360 Crimson Edition turboprop.

The Citation CJ3 Gen2 brings a wave of customer-driven enhancements to Cessna’s popular light jet lineup. These include:

  • Garmin autothrottle technology
  • Additional pilot legroom
  • A fully redesigned cabin environment

The aircraft received FAA certification in 2025 and entered service earlier this year. Meanwhile, the King Air 360 Crimson Edition turns heads with a bold metallic crimson, silver, and black exterior. This is finished by Charleston, South Carolina-based paint specialist Mankiewicz Coatings. It also features an anniversary-themed custom interior.

Both aircraft will make their first-ever public airshow appearances at Oshkosh. They will be showcased alongside a broad display spanning Cessna, Beechcraft, Pipistrel, and McCauley Propeller products. These range from piston singles and gliders to turboprops and business jets. Textron’s exhibit will also showcase Starlink and Gogo Galileo aftermarket connectivity solutions.

“EAA AirVenture is one of the most important opportunities each year for us to connect with customers and the broader aviation community,” said Lannie O’Bannion, Textron Aviation Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
