K-Beauty Brands Dominate Amazon Prime Day 2026, Claiming 38% of Top 100 Skincare Products
Korean beauty brands delivered a record-breaking performance during Amazon Prime Day 2026 (June 23–26). They claimed an impressive 38 out of the 100 bestselling skincare products on the platform. This marks their strongest showing yet at the retail giant’s flagship annual sale event. In the broader beauty and personal care category, 29 of the top 100 products were also K-beauty items.
Leading the charge were household names Laneige, Cosrx, and Medicube. These brands were part of a wider selection from the Korean beauty conglomerate Amorepacific Group. The group reported a 20% sales surge in the U.S. market and a 22% jump in Europe year-over-year during the event. This marked its largest Prime Day performance to date.
Notably, Laneige’s Lip Glowy Balm and Lip Sleeping Mask took the top two spots in the lip balm category. Meanwhile, Mise en Scene’s Perfect Serum Hair Oil ranked first in the hair styling oil category.
The results underscore a seismic and sustained shift in global beauty consumption. K-beauty’s innovation in texture science, multifunctional formulas, and skin-barrier technology continues to outpace Western competitors. Industry analysts note that the Korean cosmetics sector is also hitting record export figures for the first half of 2026. This cements South Korea’s position as the world’s leading beauty innovator.
