A Bold New Direction: Coty Inc. Revamps Leadership with Coty.Curated Strategy
Global beauty powerhouse, Coty Inc. (NYSE: COTY), has unveiled a comprehensive overhaul of its leadership structure and operational model. This change, effective from July 2, 2026, is a key component of the company’s accelerated Coty.Curated strategy. The objective of these changes is to bring commercial decision-making closer to the company’s core markets, enhance speed and accountability, and streamline the delivery of innovation across its prestige and consumer beauty divisions.
Under this new structure, Markus Strobel, Coty’s Executive Chairman and interim CEO, will assume direct control of the company’s Prestige commercial operations. All regional leaders will now report directly to him. Furthermore, the Prestige R&D, sustainability, and supply chain functions will be amalgamated into a single unified division. This division will be led on an interim basis by Chief Supply Chain Officer Graeme Carter. The Consumer Beauty segment will continue under the integrated model led by President Gordon von Bretten.
The restructure also brings about several significant executive departures:
- Chief Commercial Officer Prestige Caroline Andreotti will exit at the end of September after nearly two decades with the company.
- Chief Scientific and Sustainability Officer Dr. Shimei Fan will depart at the end of August.
Joining the team on September 1, 2026, is the incoming Chief People and Purpose Officer Séverine Charbon. Charbon brings with her over 25 years of international talent strategy experience from Publicis Groupe. This overhaul follows a recent board refresh that added five new independent directors, expanding Coty’s board to 10 members.
