Honeywell Aerospace has officially launched JetWave X, its next-generation inflight connectivity platform for business aviation, announcing that the system has entered service and is now available to order directly and through authorized channel partners.

Unveiled at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas, JetWave X connects to Viasat’s Ka-band network, including the fully operational ViaSat-3 constellation and the legacy Global Xpress (GX) satellites, delivering download speeds of up to 300 Mbps — a first for business aviation. The ViaSat-3 constellation alone has tripled the bandwidth available across Viasat’s network, enabling an internet experience that rivals home or office connectivity at 40,000 feet.

The platform’s standout feature is its Advanced Data Control (ADC) system — a smart connectivity management tool that automatically combines multiple satellite and air-to-ground links across geostationary (GEO), medium earth (MEO), highly elliptical (HEO), and future low earth orbit (LEO) networks into a single, optimized onboard connection. The system prioritizes traffic by application type, tailoring bandwidth for VIPs, crew, and guests, and reacts in real time to outages or coverage gaps.

JetWave X will be available as an upgrade for popular business jet models including Bombardier, Dassault, and Gulfstream platforms. Existing JetWave operators benefit from a streamlined upgrade path requiring only three line replaceable unit (LRU) swaps and minimal structural changes, plus a trade-in program for early adopters.
