JetBlue Announces Free First-Class Upgrades for All Mosaic Members in 2027

Frequent flyers, it’s time to celebrate! JetBlue Airways has unveiled a comprehensive expansion of its TrueBlue loyalty program. This exciting development, set to launch on February 1, 2027, was announced on October 22, 2026, and is being hailed by travel enthusiasts as a clear victory for loyal customers.

The most significant upgrade is the introduction of complimentary, space-available BlueFirst™ upgrades. This is JetBlue’s new domestic first-class cabin, and it’s available to all four tiers of Mosaic elite status members. Furthermore, eligible JetBlue Premier Cardmembers who book with their card can also avail of this upgrade. What’s more, this perk extends to one travel companion on the same reservation.

In addition to upgrades, the revamped program introduces greater flexibility to the popular Perks You Pick initiative. This allows members to reselect the same reward at multiple qualifying milestones. The previously named Move to Mint certificates, now known as Premium Upgrade Certificates, can now be redeemed for both Mint® and BlueFirst™ seating. Top-tier Mosaic 4 members now have the option to gift Mosaic 3 status or a BlueHouse Lounge membership to another traveler. JetBlue Premier Cardmembers at Mosaic 3 and 4 levels can also earn companion travel statement credits of up to $500 and $1,500, respectively.

JetBlue’s Vice President of Loyalty and Personalization, Ed Pouthier, stated, “These updates reflect what they’ve told us matters: meaningful benefits, greater flexibility and more value.”
