Singapore Tourism Board and GetYourGuide Forge Historic Two-Year Tourism Alliance

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and the international travel experiences platform, GetYourGuide, have inked a historic two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement aims to develop, distribute, and promote Singapore’s unique tourism experiences to global travellers. The MoU was signed on October 15, 2026, at GetYourGuide’s headquarters in Berlin by its CEO and co-founder, Johannes Reck, and STB’s Chief Executive, Melissa Ow.

This partnership, which marks GetYourGuide’s first international destination marketing collaboration with a national tourism board outside Germany, is founded on three key pillars:

  1. Sharing insights into traveller demand
  2. Co-developing new and enhanced experiences with local Singapore operators
  3. Exploring joint marketing campaigns to boost Singapore’s global tourism visibility

Through this collaboration, local tourism businesses will gain access to GetYourGuide’s marketplace, which covers more than 18,000 destinations worldwide.

The agreement comes at a time when Singapore is exploring innovative strategies to attract tourists, following a reported 6.6% decline in international arrivals in Q2 2026. By harnessing GetYourGuide’s platform and data intelligence, Singapore aims to modernise its tourism marketing, transition towards experience-based offerings, and stimulate higher visitor spending across the destination.
