Sports Illustrated Resorts Amplifies Presence: Travel + Leisure Collaborates with Wyndham for Hotel Expansion

Orlando, FL — October 6, 2026 — Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE: TNL) is set to elevate its Sports Illustrated Resorts brand, announcing a broadened partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The collaboration aims to construct, manage, and scale full-service hotels under the Sports Illustrated banner. This initiative signifies a substantial strategic shift for the brand, which has predominantly concentrated on resort-style properties.

The partnership establishes a blueprint to evolve Sports Illustrated Resorts into a “complementary, yet differentiated, hospitality and mixed-use development platform.” This move paves the way for traditional hotel formats for the first time. Wyndham’s global scale and distribution network are anticipated to expedite growth for a brand that has historically encountered delays launching new properties.

The announcement arrives amidst escalating competition in the sports-themed lodging sector. Travel + Leisure Co. also recently broadened its Eddie Bauer Adventure Club with the new Trail Partners network. This expansion provides members with access to all 18 Under Canvas glamping properties across North America, situated near iconic destinations such as Yellowstone, Zion, the Grand Canyon, and Yosemite.

TNL stock closed at $62.92 on the NYSE on October 2, 2026, with analysts maintaining a consensus target price of $89.18. The company is scheduled to report Q3 2026 earnings on October 27, 2026.
