Pryor Flight Center Unveils New Aircraft Maintenance Division in North Alabama

The Pryor Field Airport Authority proudly announces the inauguration of the Pryor Flight Center Aircraft Maintenance Division at Pryor Field Regional Airport (DCU). This strategic location, nestled between Huntsville and Decatur in North Alabama, began operations on September 28, 2026, and is currently scheduling aircraft for service.

This expanded facility caters to general aviation aircraft owners throughout North Alabama and the Southeast. It provides a comprehensive suite of services such as annual inspections, avionics upgrades, troubleshooting, and emergency AOG (Aircraft on Ground) repairs. The division caters to business jets, turboprops, and general aviation aircraft. It is conveniently located in the heart of North Alabama’s burgeoning aerospace corridor, with direct access to Interstate 65.

Adam Fox, CEO of Pryor Field Airport Authority, expressed his vision for the new division: “Our goal is simple: provide aircraft owners and operators with a maintenance partner they can depend on and get their aircraft back in the air as quickly as possible.” This launch signifies a continued expansion of services at Pryor Field, which has evolved into a leading aviation hub for the Tennessee Valley region. Pilots and flight departments are invited to contact the center to reserve maintenance slots.
