EAA Unveils 2026–2027 SportAir Workshop Schedule for Nationwide Access
The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) has unveiled its eagerly awaited 2026–2027 SportAir Workshop schedule. This expansion will provide aviation enthusiasts across the United States with increased access to hands-on aircraft building and restoration instruction.
For over 25 years, SportAir Workshops have served as a fundamental resource for the homebuilding community. These intensive weekend courses offer instruction in a variety of skills, including:
- Sheet metal construction and riveting
- Fabric covering
- Composite lay-up
- Gas and TIG welding
- Electrical systems and avionics
These classes are held year-round across the country, usually spanning a two-day weekend, and are open to anyone aged 18 and older. No EAA membership is necessary, although members do receive a discount.
