Medik8 Unveils Groundbreaking Vegan PDRN Serum with a Unique Pop-Up Event
British skincare brand Medik8 is revolutionizing the regenerative beauty industry with its latest offering – the Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Youthful Vitality Serum ($96). This innovative product features a vegan alternative to the traditional salmon-derived PDRN. To commemorate this launch, Medik8, in collaboration with luxury beauty retailer Space NK, is hosting a lab-themed pop-up event at Covent Garden, London, on May 23-24.
The serum is the result of three years of intensive research and development and is one of Medik8’s most significant launches since its $1.1 billion acquisition by L’Oréal last year. Unlike conventional PDRN products that use salmon DNA, Medik8’s formula employs bacteria-derived biotechnology to mimic nucleotide chains in tetrahedral structures for optimal skin penetration. Each bottle of serum is packed with up to 151 billion exosomes derived from pomegranate, centella asiatica, and postbiotics.
Clinical studies have shown impressive results. The serum demonstrated visible improvements across seven skin metrics in just seven days, including barrier function, firmness, luminosity, and wrinkle reduction. The formula combines a Triple Exosome Complex with Growth Factor MiniProtein and ATP precursor technology to support skin recovery, reduce redness, and enhance overall skin vitality.
