In a significant advancement for the gut health and wellness sector, Tiny Health—an Austin, Texas-based microbiome intelligence platform—has successfully secured $33 million in a Series B funding round. This latest round propels the company’s total funding to $46 million. Each test comes with personalized health recommendations powered by TinyAI—the company’s proprietary AI trained on nearly 200,000 microbiome profiles. The tests offer valuable insights into gastrointestinal issues, inflammation, eczema, and allergies.

In conjunction with the funding, Tiny Health has initiated a $5 million Microbiome Research Program to aid academic and clinical researchers in exploring microbial intervention strategies. The company reports that it has surpassed eight figures in annual revenue and is at least doubling year-over-year. It boasts of over 6,000 practitioners on its platform and 47 enterprise partners.

The fresh capital will be deployed to further clinical research, expand healthcare practitioner education, and scale the company’s B2B platform. With more than $550 billion spent annually on chronic conditions linked to the gut microbiome, Tiny Health aims to establish itself as the defining infrastructure for personalized gut health.
