Experience Enhanced Streaming with Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K (2026) — Faster and Affordable at $60

Amazon has officially launched the Fire TV Stick 4K (2026), the newest addition to its highly acclaimed streaming device lineup. The company promises a significantly faster performance and a completely redesigned remote control. The new stick reportedly boots and launches apps up to 20–40% faster than other 4K streaming sticks in the same price range.

Underneath its sleek exterior, the device houses a quad-core 1.7GHz processor and 8GB of internal storage. It supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and 4K video playback at 60fps using H.264, H.265, VP9, and AV1 codecs. Additionally, it supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG formats. A significant change to note is the new Stick 4K’s operating system. It now runs on Amazon’s new Vega OS, replacing the Android-based Fire OS. Over 2,000 apps have been added to the platform in the past year, including Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Spotify, and Xbox cloud gaming.

The revamped Fire TV Remote boasts a tactile, ergonomic design with a weighted curved bottom and a metal-surfaced Home button that’s easy to find by touch. A unique feature is the “Find My Remote” function — users can ask Alexa to locate the remote, which will then emit a sound. The Fire TV Stick 4K (2026) is priced at $59.99 but will be available for just $29.99 during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days on October 6–7. Shipping begins in late October 2026.
