Nvidia’s Groundbreaking $1.5B Server Farm in Israel — A Historic Milestone
Nvidia, the world’s most valuable publicly traded company, is progressing with plans to invest an estimated $1.5 billion in what is set to be the largest server farm in Israel’s history, as reported by Israeli financial news source, Calcalist.
The tech titan is in the final stages of negotiations to lease a data center currently under construction in the Mevo Carmel industrial zone, located near Yokneam. The lease is with the real estate firm, Mega Or DC. The total investment, which includes infrastructure, computing equipment, and Nvidia’s next-generation Blackwell processors, is anticipated to reach approximately NIS 4.84 billion (~$1.5 billion USD).
This new facility will be solely dedicated to Nvidia’s internal AI development operations. It is projected to be the most power-intensive data center of its kind in Israel and one of the largest in the entire Middle East. This project is part of a wider expansion in northern Israel, which includes a major new R&D campus. Together, these developments are expected to transform the region into a significant global technology hub.
Israel already plays a pivotal role as Nvidia’s second-largest R&D hub outside the United States. The company employs over 5,000 staff across multiple facilities in the country. Nvidia currently boasts a market capitalization of approximately $4.3 trillion, with shares having risen 27% since the beginning of 2026. The company’s CEO, Jensen Huang, has consistently highlighted Israel’s strategic importance to Nvidia’s global growth.
