Brian Rohloff: Textron Aviation’s New CEO Takes Flight
General aviation’s renowned manufacturer, Textron Aviation, has ushered in a new era of leadership. The Wichita, Kansas-based company, famed for the iconic Cessna and Beechcraft brands, officially welcomed Brian Rohloff as its new President and CEO on August 31, 2026.
Rohloff, a seasoned veteran with 29 years at Textron Aviation, steps into the shoes of Ron Draper. Draper, after a successful stint of eight years at the helm and a commendable 27 years with Textron, announced his retirement. However, he will continue to serve the organization as a senior advisor through the end of 2026, ensuring a seamless transition.
With a diverse portfolio of leadership roles under his belt, Rohloff brings a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations to his new role. His experience spans manufacturing, quality, parts, sales, and finance. His deep-rooted personal connection with aviation, stemming from his childhood memories of being awakened by the sound of Beechcraft engine run-ups, adds to his unique perspective.
