Anthropic’s AI, Claude, Surpasses $100 Billion Revenue Milestone, Prepares for IPO
AI industry leader, Anthropic, has achieved a significant landmark. The company’s annual revenue is projected to exceed $100 billion in 2026, as reported by The New York Times. This impressive figure represents a tenfold increase from where the company stood at the end of 2025. The surge in revenue is attributed to the widespread adoption of its flagship products, Claude Code and Claude CoWork, by enterprises.
Anthropic’s revenue run rate has seen a meteoric rise throughout the year, hitting approximately $47 billion in May 2026 and $65 billion by July 2026. The company now boasts over 300,000 business customers, with more than 1,000 enterprise organizations investing over $1 million annually in its platform. Its prestigious client list includes Netflix, Spotify, KPMG, L’Oréal, and Salesforce.
Valued at a staggering $965 billion after its record-breaking $65 billion Series H round in May 2026, the AI firm is actively preparing for an IPO, potentially as soon as November 2026. This follows the confidential submission of a draft S-1 to the SEC in June. Anthropic has significant infrastructure agreements with Amazon, Google, and Broadcom, including a contract worth over $100 billion with AWS spanning ten years.
Anthropic’s success has solidified its position at the forefront of the industry, commanding a 54% share of enterprise coding spend — a stark contrast to OpenAI’s 21%.
