Dyson Breaks Into Oral Care with CameraJet™: The Revolutionary Toothbrush That Flosses for You

Dyson, the renowned British engineering company, has boldly ventured into the oral care sector with the introduction of the Dyson CameraJet™. This revolutionary product is the world’s first toothbrush to feature a built-in camera and precision mouthwash jet. It takes the hassle out of flossing by doing it for you as you brush.

James Dyson, the company’s founder, unveiled the CameraJet in Paris on September 1, 2026. The toothbrush employs Gap Optical Targeting™ technology, a high-resolution macro-lens camera powered by machine learning. This camera captures and analyzes 28 live images per second, detecting, tracking, and targeting gaps between teeth in real time. When a gap is detected, the device delivers a precise, cone-shaped burst of mouthwash directly to the targeted area.

The CameraJet is the result of six years of intensive R&D and 38 filed patents. It also features variable sonic oscillation that keeps bristles active during brushing, a marked improvement over conventional sonic toothbrushes that can stall against the tooth surface. The toothbrush includes a 12.5 mL transparent mouthwash tank with anti-gravity pump capability that refills in just three seconds from its dedicated docking station. The CameraJet is available in two colorways — Ceramic Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink — and is priced at $500. It can be purchased at dyson.com and in Dyson Demo Stores.

In addition to the CameraJet, Dyson has also introduced its own non-foaming toothpaste. Available in Ginger Mint and Spearmint flavors, this toothpaste is specially formulated to keep the camera lens clear during brushing.
