This $499 AI-powered electric toothbrush, which was launched on September 1, 2026, is the culmination of six years of rigorous research and development. This involved the efforts of 661 Dyson engineers and resulted in 38 filed patents. The CameraJet is a unique amalgamation of an electric toothbrush, a precision water flosser, and a built-in camera, all packed into one elegant gadget.
The core of the CameraJet is a 100,000-pixel macro-lens camera that captures 28 images per second. Dyson’s exclusive machine-learning system, known as Gap Optical Targeting, scrutinizes these images in real-time. It identifies gaps between teeth and triggers a targeted burst of mouthrinse within approximately 100 milliseconds. This results in effective flossing while you brush. The device syncs with the MyDyson app to provide guided cleaning, coverage mapping, and personalized feedback.
The Dyson Dental System, which comprises the CameraJet toothbrush, a charging dock, travel case, Dyson Toothpaste, and Dyson Mouthrinse, is now available for purchase.
