Historic Triple Certification Awarded to Embraer Phenom 300EV

In a significant achievement for business and general aviation, Embraer’s latest Phenom 300EV light jet has simultaneously secured certification from three of the world’s leading aviation authorities: Brazil’s ANAC (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil), the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Union’s EASA. This historic announcement was made on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, establishing the aircraft’s eligibility to operate in key global markets.

This milestone is particularly remarkable as the Phenom 300EV is now the first light jet globally certified with Garmin Emergency Autoland. This state-of-the-art system can autonomously assume control and safely land the aircraft if the pilot becomes incapacitated. Additionally, Embraer has introduced a new Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller (MEC) that enables electronically controlled autobrake and rudder-by-wire functions, thereby reducing pilot workload and simplifying maintenance.

Launched in July 2026, the “EV” in Phenom 300EV signifies Evolution. The aircraft enhances the Phenom 300 platform — the world’s best-selling light jet for 14 consecutive years — with an increased payload capacity, advanced flight deck features, low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity, and upgraded cabin amenities. Deliveries are anticipated to commence in 2028.
