Travel + Leisure Co. Acquires 23 Resorts in Maui and Hilton Head for $343M
In a significant development in the leisure hospitality industry this year, Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE: TNL) has announced the acquisition of 23 resorts in two separate deals amounting to $343 million. This move considerably expands its presence in some of America’s most sought-after vacation markets.
The Orlando-based company has finalized the purchase of Yes& Vacations, adding seven resort properties in Maui, Hawaii, and a flagship island-inspired resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Simultaneously, it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Spinnaker Resorts, adding six premier properties in Hilton Head, South Carolina, along with additional locations in Ormond Beach, Branson, and Williamsburg. The Spinnaker deal is slated to close in Q3 2026.
These transactions collectively add more than 100,000 owners to Travel + Leisure’s vacation ownership network and are projected to generate approximately $50 million in annual adjusted EBITDA. The deals are structured to be immediately accretive to earnings and free cash flow.
“Acquiring these companies strategically expands our presence in premier leisure destinations, adding quality inventory in markets where new development is challenging,” said Michael D. Brown, President and CEO of Travel + Leisure Co.
The acquisitions reflect a broader industry trend of hospitality operators favoring strategic buyouts over costly new construction, particularly in high-barrier, supply-constrained leisure markets like Maui and Hilton Head Island.
