New Insights: Ozempic’s Impact on Brain’s Hunger Neurons

A groundbreaking study published this week by researchers at Yale University has overturned long-held assumptions about how the blockbuster weight-loss drug Ozempic (semaglutide) works in the brain. Scientists had long believed that GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic achieved weight loss by simply suppressing hunger neurons.
