Beckham’s IM8 Secures $1 Billion for Global Wellness Market Domination
The wellness industry is abuzz as IM8, the high-end supplement brand co-founded by football icon David Beckham and health sciences firm Prenetics, has secured a staggering $1 billion in non-dilutive growth financing from venture capital titan General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund (CVF).
Since its launch in December 2024, IM8 has experienced phenomenal growth, scaling from zero to over $200 million in annualized run-rate revenue in a mere 19 months of operations. In June 2026 alone, the brand reported a record-breaking $17 million in monthly revenue. Consequently, Prenetics has raised its full-year 2026 IM8 revenue guidance to between $210 million and $220 million.
Currently, IM8 operates in 43 countries and offers two flagship NSF Certified for Sport products: Daily Ultimate Essentials, a 90-ingredient daily nutrition powder, and Daily Ultimate Longevity. The $1 billion in financing will fund up to 70% of the brand’s marketing expenses, including digital advertising, connected TV, celebrity ambassador partnerships (featuring tennis pro Aryna Sabalenka and NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo), and global expansion into new markets. A new IM8 Hydration product is slated for Q4 2026, while a premium wellness gummies line is scheduled for Q1 2027.
Prenetics projects that IM8 will achieve an annualized run-rate revenue of $300 million by the end of 2026 and surpass $400 million in full-year 2027.
